Whilst much of this site is either my own work or sourced from the halachic texts,  I am very much indebted to my teacher Vivian Solomon z’’l for his introducing me to the largely hidden world of sofrut and also to Dr. Eric Ray z”l for the initial and continuing inspiration and for his sketches on quill cutting and sewing. Photos and scanned stuff are mostly my own images but occasionally I have used images from other sites or books where I am unable to obtain my own (for example pictures of k’laf preparation (as this no longer takes place in Britain) and some images for tefillin production) and I am very grateful to these sources.

The website has new stuff every so often but for more regular updates there’s a companion ‘fan page’ on facebook and twitter feed both updated regularly and blog at http://mordechaihasofer.blogspot.com/ (not updated quite so often) and books on Kulmus Publishing.
